Huawei p30 pro: own pictures on the lock screen are zoomed and / or shown upside down?

I have had a Huawei P30 pro for 2 days and managed to feed the lock screen with my own pictures. They are also shown, but unfortunately not as expected. They are all zoomed in and are sometimes upside down. But I don't find anything how I can ensure that the images are displayed correctly.

Unfortunately you only have the option to make the picture suitable beforehand otherwise it will not work.

But what do you mean by "adjust before". The pictures are from my gallery and are displayed there as normal.
