It's like I'm typing on the screen, just that I'm not doing anything. This happens several times a day. Apps open uncontrolled or a contact is selected on WhatsApp. What could this be or what can I do? Also reboots do not help.
Is it a Huawei?
Report that to Trump right away - the Chinese have struck!
Which operating system (OS) -> Android 7 or Android 8?
Have you regularly recorded the OS and (most importantly) the security updates?
If not, you have a serious problem.
Look under Settings / System: What is there: eg. Android 7.0? What is the patchlever (date)?
I have Android 7.
"Android Security Patch Level" is June 2018😅
Problem detected, danger (unfortunately) not banned. Now I have to catch up with something, because I do not know near you know about the OS Android. Android was developed by Google, Android 5.x + 6.x are no longer maintained, i. Above all, no Secury patches anymore! Google sends its patches to the manufacturer so that they can customize it for their smartphones, because each manufacturer has its own graphical user interface (called UI), which is a huge hassle for every vendor for all the latest Android versions for each fond
Adapt versions. Meanwhile Android 10 is already out since Huawei Android 7.0.0 no longer supports with security patches.
Your call for help has caused me to look at the smartphone of my wife a Motorola G4, and lo and behold -> same problem Android 7 (7.0.0).
Both Motorola and Huawei have an upgrade list.
Here is the link from Huawei:
https://www.google.com/...8817772530
To anticipate: in the line with Huawei P9 Lite is:
Available update (this is the last version meant) -> 7.0.0 There were still 7.1.0 and 7.1.1 after this version of Google these are also still being maintained, but Huawei no longer makes this available for your smartphone. Ditto. Motorola for my wife's Moto G4 not anymore…
That means -> You have an old state of security patches, this gap is very large, which does not include a four-scanner.
It hits you even worse: Due to your description I can exclude a hardware defect.
Probably a hacker has used the old stand, hacked your SF, and remotely controls your SF when it's turned on. The only option:
Get a new / used (eBay?) SF, if you are on Huawei, look in the o.g. List, select a SF with OS factory setting: Android 8.0 or 8.1 (you can also choose another manufacturer)
Save the data on the old SF and reset it to factory settings via: Settings / System / Reset Options / delete all data (reset to factory settings) …
But attention: you should really back up all data before.
Then theoretically you could sell your old SF, that's your decision. You have reset it to factory standard (Android 6.0.0).
PS: I'll do the same procedures for my wife's SF because there's not the hacking problem, but the vulnerability is just as big.
I give her a Moto G6 - with Android 8.0 from the factory, will still get Android 9 … The cost is now about 150 euro…
