Hi, I have a Huawei p30 pro for photography and a case with a magnet to close it. Is this dangerous for the cameras or for the cell phone itself?
Always depends on the https://www.supermagnete.de/. 😈
If your smartphone gets between a https://www.supermagnete.de/quadermagnete-neodymium / quadermagnet-50.8mm-50.8mm-25.4mm_Q-51-51-25-N and a metal plate, then not only your camera system is in danger.
But if this protective cover damages your smartphone - and if the protective cover was built for this smartphone, then you have claims for damages - so always buy it from German retailers. 😉
Seriously: These Pipifax closing magnets on cell phone cases do nothing.
No, these magnets are so small that they have absolutely zero influence on electronic components.
That used to be dangerous in the 90s when data was still stored magnetically on floppy disks. A magnet could erase a floppy disk under certain circumstances. But everything in cell phones is flash memory, so magnets can't harm it.
