I just wanted to send my fingerprint and 6-digit pin to my hauwei, now it came "pin required for security"
So I know "Pin on device restart" but that is new to me. Can it be that someone tried to get into my cell phone and that is why it is on it?
From time to time you have to enter the pin for security purposes or because an update has been made.
Yup. I also think every 4 days (or so) who want to have the pin once to make sure that you didn't just cut someone's finger off (or something like that).
Sometimes the phones recognize the movements and touches in your pocket when you carry them around as attempts to unlock them and if the Xmal did not work, the part wants to enter the passcode for security reasons.
