I often get advertising on my mobile phone lately in apps that do not have any ads (for example Whatsapp (not yet) or in the menu)
My assumption: There's some app running in the background, the advertising all the time and I get the then…
The ad is either from games from the Google Play Store or from another - either full screen or just such a small sign above (see picture)
If necessary: have a Huawei P10 lite

Check out your last downloads in the Playstore and delete all apps that you do not need or that seem strange to you.
Then you look in your own files through your "Downloads" folder and take v.a. Take a closer look at the newer downloads and delete there, which seems strange to you and what you do not need.
If all this does not bring any improvement, you need to re-set your phone.

Many apps store your usage data (especially the location) and sell it to other companies.
It happened to us too. Totally annoying!
We have two Huawei 9s, but that was not
I had to throw out some of the most recently downloaded apps
and then rummaging through Google's settings to get at least some control.
But I did not completely get it off yet, Google lives and thrives on advertising.
