The Nova is a little bit better. Already has the Kirin 980 as SOC, while the "P20 Pro" is "only" the 970.
Camera is similar. Battery is better with the P20 Pro. The Nova "only" has an IPS display, while the P20 Pro is an AMOLED.
In other words, the AMOLED is a little more energy efficient.
