Apple, Samsung, Huawei or something completely different?

Which mobile phone do you have or which devices do you use?

So I do not think the following is good:

Apple is not good. Reason: Limited closed operating system + missing headphone jack.
Samsung is not good. Reason: Display Panel are allegedly broken very quickly (which have very many customers have bought from Samsung Galaxy S8, the display is either very fast einbrenenn or quickly comes to the pixel error
Google Pixel is not good. Reason: poor performance. The Youtube KuchenTV has also used Google Pixel Smartphone, and he himself has said that this Google pixel is annoying because of laggs, etc…
Sony no, please no Sony. Reason: Very poor sim card reception and poor Wi-Fi reception. I once looked at WLAN diagram signal on my Sony Xperia and what do I see there: Zick, Zack, Zick, Zack, Zick, Zack (really cool). No wonder that even Wi-Fi often stutters and LTE breaks the signal completely for every little thing. So if you absolutely need to make calls, I advise Sony Xperia completely off.
Huawei is not that good either. Reason: No SD card slot and missing headphone jack.

That's why I choose something different.

I switched from Samsung to Apple and I have to say I would never want to go back. Even as someone who works in the computer science industry, I think it's great. Sure, a few things are not as you would like or know, but overall, I think it's worlds better.
The biggest minus factor in my opinion is the price, which is probably because Apple just wants to stay exclusive.

an

The price comes just because they develop their own OS and do not use an open source OS. It also costs money. Add to that the policy that you just get a new device in your hand, if something (of course in the warranty) with your device is not correct ("The button does not make hast update?" OK, I'll get a new device and n we will delete the old one together ").

I've been an Apple user since 2010 (starting with the MacBook White) and a proud iPhone user since 2012. I will explain the details in the following text:

For me, the iPhone has always been a device that's reliable, secure, fast and easy to use. I personally like it when my apps are sorted on my homescreen and I'm not a friend of widgets on Android (but that does not mean it's bad). Of course, Android is a very versatile operating system with infinitely many settings options and individual customizability, but for me it is generally too much. I liked to keep it compact and simple. And that's the case with the iPhone. Whenever new features are introduced for the iPhone, I'm worried that this will not go too far, because there are many features like Siri, Shortcuts that I do not know about today, or this swipe keyboard where you can't anymore I basically do not use it to type but to wipe to write a text. I also want to use what I need, everything else is superfluous for me. As I said: it is not bad, but definitely superfluous for me.

In 2010, I was an Android user myself and at first I was very excited about how much the device could be at a very lower price than the iPhone. The devices, however, become very slow over time, get no updates and lose value very quickly. The sale of these devices is less than half of what you have paid. As an Apple user, the status symbol has an advantage, such as the Rolex or a Ferrari. The things can still sell relatively well after two years, especially since Apple does not offer the devices themselves in the store anymore. I see that as a positive aspect!

I'm currently using my 64GB 64Gb XS iPhone XS and am quite satisfied (with the exception of all the bugs that are currently ramping up in iOS 13). I also use the MacBook Pro Late 2016 at the same time and am also relatively satisfied. But I have to admit that the quality of Apple has decreased significantly in recent. Example: The MacBook Pros with Butterfly keyboards have a big bug in which the keys jam in the short period of time and thus duplicate letters appear despite one tap. Also, the device tends to crash quickly. Once upon a time, I was suddenly seeing graphics errors (green and blue bars) where I thought, What is that supposed to do? You pay a lot of money for a high, quality product and then something like that! I think it's ridiculous.

Well, the Apple pulls the handbrake this time and applies for the subsequent operating system iOS 14 and in the productions of the new MacBooks again the old standards. The new MacBooks get back the good old keyboard, which worked great on the old MacBook White. This MacBook, which is in my closet today, runs perfectly today. Just do not get it broken. At that time the hard disks were destroyed for me, mostly overheated, this one can exchange but very easily. But you can watch various videos on the Internet. In addition, I upgraded my RAM from 2 GB to 8 GB at that time. Has worked wonderfully. Unfortunately, I do not know if this works the same with the MacBook today. Hard disks are no longer installed, but SSD, which are soldered to the motherboard. It was a lot easier then.

Conclusion: I think Apple continues to be a very reliable company. The products are running very well and I'm convinced that they will restore quality in the future. The competitors like Samsung, Huawei and Co. Are also good devices. Have seen many reviews and was amazed what the things can now. For me personally, it is still too much! I like it simple and compact, that was Apple's distinguishing feature. Incidentally, I'm very curious about the following iPhone: The old design of the iPhone 4, 5 and 5S will be taken over again and also a 120 Hertz display will be installed (so-called: Promotion Display), which is already included in the iPad Pro. Since I really like the design and the operation of the device, I will continue to stay with Apple. But if it turns out that the following years nothing special will be released by Apple, hesitate

Well, as much as I like Apple, the purchase price can't be explained by the OS… Rather, by the shiny apple on the back of the iPhone. The maintenance of an operating system that has been running for 13 generations (iOS 13.2.3) is not nearly as costly as one might think.

The device insurance is not included in the purchase price as far as I know. Apple care costs extra. But it can also be that I have misunderstood this.

So in any case (due to lack of Wi-Fi at home, apps buy problem because of lower pocket money) I have to stay with Android. Because Android is a free operating system, with which you can also download new interface and completely change the interface + Personalize.

an

Apple Care + only insures its own fault if I see it correctly. Costs extra. Of course you pay the brand but the development and maintenance of the smoothly harmonizing OS is not to be underestimated. It's not just 5 people working on it.
