I watch in the course of Cyber Monday Week and Black Friday for cheap mobile phone tariffs with mobile phone.
I have now compared different contracts at Saturn and come to the result.
A Huawei Mate 20 per (999 euro without contract) → with tariff 1 euro once and 37 euro a month
IPhone Xs (1100 euro without contract) → with the same fare 150 euro once and 62 euro a month
How can it be that the Huawei is much cheaper after 24 months of contract than you would buy it (! Without tariff) or an Iphone so enormously expensive with the same tariff?
Apple relies on the narrow-mindedness of its followers and so Apple earns half of the retail price on every mobile phone - Huawei is content with the market-standard 5-7% per cell phone sold
Huawei wants to expand its market share, Apple does not need it, people buy the stuff anyway, no matter how expensive it is. My forecast: In three years at the latest, Huawei is the same. Their "fan base" is already at least as bad as that of Apple.
Look at the contract, if the cell phone is not only borrowed, in this contract. I had my first (and last) contract phone from Nokia. A navigator, the good piece I had to give back after the contract. The slide mechanism was not fun anymore, the case was badly battered, the keys were tapped… But base has accepted that as traces of usage. I could have bought it too, but they wanted to have just under 200 euro more for the part when I would have been willing to pay for it.
