Huawei Mate 20 is looking for update?

I bought a new phone (Huawei Mate20) and it does not react anymore.

The problem: I took the phone out of the box, turned it on and tried to set it up. After I connected it to the Wi-Fi, it has been continuously looking for updates since then. I did not even have the opportunity to come to the homescreen but just followed the first set-up steps.

Now the question, why is the infinite update search? Does anyone know or have experience with it?
