Today I have my new Xomax xm-2da801 Android car radio (Android 6.0.1) built into my Skoda. Now I have the following problem:
I constantly try to connect the Wi-Fi to my mobile hotspot (Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Android), but this is not found. My laptop can be easily connected to the hotspot. However, the radio detects the Wi-Fi of the neighbor?
Does anyone have any idea how I can connect the device to the hotspot?
Did you do it that way on your smartphone?:

If it does not succeed you may need to consider the following:
----> (Quote from page 39 in the manual of the radio)
Unlock developer options
You must first enable the USB debugging feature. The option to unlock the USB debugging feature on your Android device has been hidden in the developer options by Google developers. These options are
from Android 4.2 hidden and need to be shown again by a small trick. In previous Android versions, these options were visible in the preferences by default.

Here is the manual for the radio: https://www.xomax.de/download.html/category/12-de-bedienungsanleitungen.html?download=1383:xomax-xm-2da801-android-6-bedienungsanleitung-deutsch
PS:
If it still does not succeed, I would set the Advanced Options (item 4 of the "Show Advanced Option") your Wi-Fi hotspot differently (encryption methods WPA instead of WPA2 perhaps? 2.4 GHz other channel? If possible? https://www.hardreset.info/devices/huawei/huawei-mate-20-pro/portable-hotspot/
Thank you for your answer, I switched on the smartphone from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz, then everything went great.
I'm glad that it works.
