Mobile rings despite not disturb mode - what to do?

The phone is a Huawei Mate 20 X.

In the non-disruptive mode, "allow only important interruptions" is selected. For calls it does not ring first, but if the call is missed and you get a notification, it is loud. That should not be, it is not for nothing "do not disturb mode". But why is that?

Did you show messages in the Do Not Disturb mode?

If your important contacts ring anyway, messages will be lost anyway.
