Replace SIM card with Huawei mobile?

I have a new Huawei phone and would like to exchange the sim card of my old Huawei. I get with this small needle but the compartment not on both phones. I put it in, press the tray, but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? LG

You work against it.

You do not have to press against the subject, but pull out. So, needle in the hole and then pull out with the fingernails the tray.
