Have used my mother's phone for a while.
I overslept yesterday and the screen went through all night.
When I wanted to serve it this morning, however, the touch did not respond anymore and when I clicked the power button it did change the volume. I then tried around for quite a long time and finally switched it off. Now the phone is not working anymore. It does not charge anymore and if you click on the power button it sometimes vibrates but nothing else. The phone is a very new Huawei from 2018. It has only 1 gbram and the memory was already almost full
Leave the phone longer on the charging cable, even if it shows nothing.
That's how it is, new and immature.
The phone does not start until the battery has reached a minimum charge. So, patience!
But it could be that you need the PIN when switching on. If your mother did not tell you, then you should not experiment. If that goes wrong, then you have a real problem…
