This is a list of trusted certification authorities. Your cell phone needs it to determine whether the certificate of an https page is secure.
So is this required for normal smartphone operation? With me there are also some companies from Asia. My eyebrows went up a little. Probably because it's a Huawei.
You will certainly find them in other cell phones or browsers. It may be rare that a German website is secured with a certificate issued by an Asian certification body, but the devices are produced for the world market. They are sold in China with the same software as in Germany. You will find most of them in an iPhone.
