Huawei phones still buy?

Please only answer, if you know exactly, because I have a lot of rumgefragt and heard a lot

My phone is broken and I wanted to get a new one. What is the current situation with Huawei phones. Will you be able to install Whatsapp? What about Android in general? If you have a Playstore etc on the new Huawei phones… Would be grateful for answers.
