I'm inside the Wi-Fi with my Huawei smartphone.
I would like to pass the signal on via hotspot.
Problem: When I switch on the hotspot, my WLAN switches off.
So unfortunately I can't pass on the signal. How do I get it done?
Not at all, the hotspot is only able to forward the data network. Forwarding WLAN does not make sense - then you can dial the other device directly into the WLAN.
The module built into your cell phone can either receive a signal or send it.
But neither is possible at the same time.
You can pass on your Wi-Fi connection via USB cable or Bluetooth. (At least with Android)
That's how it should be, it's only possible with mobile data.
Ds means Wi-Fi bridging as far as i know.
can only the huawei 20 mate
It is normal for the WLAN to be deactivated when the hotspot is switched on. However, some cell phones also offer a mobile hotspot (e.g. Wi-Fi Bridge) and are also available on some Huawei cell phones. You can also use it to share your Wi-Fi. Check the time in the settings. Otherwise, you can also connect your cell phone Wi-Fi to a repeater and quasi share your Wi-Fi with it.
