Latest ios 12.4.9?

Today I got an Iphone 6 but now I'm still writing from the old Huawei cell phone. I set up the iphone as far as I could handle it. Then came the moment when I wanted to design a cool display just like everyone else. Something wasn't quite right, so I looked up the iOS version and it was 12. Anything. I checked the internet and updated the software. It now says that the latest software version has already been installed (12.4.9). But I don't know what I did wrong, can someone explain that to me?

The iPhone 6 is out. There are no more updates for that.

You can only create the widgets and screens with iOS 14. The iPhone 6 does not support iOS 13 or iOS 14, which is why it is unfortunately not possible with the device.

At least an iPhone 6s is required.

There's no current software version for the iPhone 6, only the newer models receive iOS 14 and its features.
