I currently have a Samsung A7 which cost over 350 euro and I have to say honestly disappointed. I had a 120 euro Huawei for more than 3 years before and that was superior to the Samsung in all its looks… But I find Apple in relation to the Price not particularly good either (looks not particularly good camera but well) what do you say?
OnePlus, has never been really disappointed for almost 5 years
I recently bought a P30.
Top cell phone, I especially love the battery life from Huawei.
Even without Google services, I would still buy a Huawei cell phone, there are enough alternatives.
Had a very good experience with both Huawei devices
Only had a Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and recently bought a used P30 for 300 euro (was 1 month old, not used).
I use my cell phone for Whatsapp, comics and videos, no extreme gaming etc. Samsung has the best displays, that is the only reason. In addition, my S7 is still working properly. Rule of thumb: for every year you use your cell phone may cost 100 euro. If I use it for 3 years 300 euro, my S7 cost me 450, so I will use it for at least 4.5 years.
Let's hope it works so
My old Huawei could only be used for an hour without charging. Well - that I put it in the fridge to cool it down from its 60 + ° C could also be partly to blame for it ^^
I have returned to Nokia and I'm satisfied. Decent price-performance ratio, robust and a good battery. For my purposes, both on business (N7.1) and privately (N6.1) completely sufficient.
Well I've had it for 4 years and it runs almost like new. I think I will buy a new one sometime because of the battery, it will probably wear off soon.
You can also simply replace or have the battery replaced
I'm not so sure about the S7. It is also critical to replace the display.
I can't make an express recommendation now because everyone has different interests and ideas when it comes to the equipment of the smartphone. That's why I try to lead you to a result based on the technical data:
Apple basically works with its own operating system iOS. The hardware is adapted to the software, so that the devices usually overtake the Android devices despite the smaller processors, but cost a lot of money to purchase if you absolutely want to use the latest functions. The iPhone is currently available from Apple in the following versions:
-iPhone 8 and 8 Plus (compared to the latest devices, relatively "cheap and equipped with the latest software).
-iPhone Xr (was introduced 1 1/2 years ago in September 2018 in addition to the iPhone XS, which is no longer sold by Apple in the store, is technically up to date, provided you can get along with a camera lens and get it well Amazon will certainly get the device even cheaper).
-iPhone 11 (presented last year 2019 and currently up-to-date, unfortunately still too expensive for around 750 euro for many, but if you don't buy a new device for 2 years you have 5 years of rest).
11 Pro (same device as the 11, but with an even more elegant look and a better display. The device is really great, but costs an impressive 1149 euro, the MAX model even 1249 euro)
Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the device suits them. Since it is recommended to try the device at a friend or in the Apple Store. The staff are absolutely friendly and helpful.
Now for Android and Google: The operating system is represented on almost all devices except the iPhone and Microsoft. There are plenty of devices. Since you already had an Android smartphone, you will not have to adjust or adjust everything with a new device. The devices are no stranger to the user. From this house there's also the Galaxy series from Samsung. There the older devices (Galaxy S8 for example) are now available for a good 350 euro. The technology is really still usable for today's purposes and will probably be able to keep up well for years to come. The problem, however, is that the software will no longer be up-to-date there. With Samsung, this is relatively quick. After two years at the latest it is actually over, with one or two security updates being published. For example, the Google Pixel is at the forefront. Google promises updates for about 3 years, which is very good for the average. Everyone wants one thing: that the devices last as long as possible!
As already mentioned, the technology is very good for the models mentioned above. HUAWEI (for example the P30 Lite) is also a good smartphone for relatively little money compared to other devices that cost a lot more. I can recommend, depending on how much you want to invest in a smartphone:
Samsung Galaxy S8, S9
iPhone 8 or 8 Plus
HUAWEI P30 Lite (you might even get a P30 Pro if you had to search)
These are the devices for which a longer-lasting use is likely. With more power, of course, you have to dig deeper into your pocket. The cameras on the HUAWEI P30 are the best of all the devices mentioned above, but are not necessarily worse on the others. The best thing would be to look at some reviews and photos on the Internet and then see what suits you!
Why do I recommend an iPhone despite the large selection of Android and the corresponding price-performance ratio?
I think the devices are expensive, that is true, but I have not complained since 2013 because of the constant updates, the reliable system (is also good for Android, but not as good for me as with iOS). The devices are really excellent and do a good job.
However, this is only my opinion. My advice: please try it out (the devices that best suit you), then decide for yourself. As I said, cameras are pretty good at HUAWEI. Samsung also takes good pictures. At Apple, the quality of the pictures is good, especially with the iPhone XR.
The question is very difficult to answer because I don't know your exact ambitions except for the camera quality. Therefore I would m
Many thanks for the detailed answer 😅… I already had your P30 Lite in mind 😉
