We have 2 phones, 1 Huawei and a Sony. Both are on my name.

You probably have the same user account on the smartphones… You have to set up 2 different accounts… On each phone a different account… Otherwise, everything is always on both devices
Set up a separate user account for each or deactivate data synchronization on both devices.
You probably use Google Photos as a gallery. There's the option to upload images and view devices with the same account.
You're probably using the same Google Account on both devices and have sync enabled.
Either turn off sync, sign out of Google Photos, or create a Google Account for yourself.
