I have the following problem. I have forgotten my password from my Huawei and have the problem that I have to enter my pin because of a restart, which I do not remember. Normally there's always a password forgotten option but this can't be found. The cooldown is now 1 hour and I would like to perform a factory reset. Anyone have an idea how I can get the lock screen or use a Google data to unlock?
For this you can first enter the lock code or the lock pattern several times until the note "Forgot your pattern?" appears on the screen.
Now you can enter the backup PIN.
If you do not know these anymore, you enter the data of the Google account registered on the smartphone. So you can identify yourself as the owner of the device.
After entering, you will be directed to the screen lock settings to edit them.
Some smartphones, such as Nexus and Huawei devices, do not offer unlocking through the Google Account.
The problem is, however, that no matter how many times I enter the PIN incorrectly the note "forgot password" does not even appear otherwise the whole thing using the backup pin would not be a problem, but this option is again in the Huawei P6 available so I'm off I'm doing something wrong
Also over the https://www.google.com/...d/find?u=0 you can get back access to the device, if you have forgotten the unlock pattern or the backup PIN no longer in the head and on any sticky note to find. Prerequisite is that the Android device has previously been linked to the Device Manager.
Log in to Android Device Manager with the Google Account.
If you have already set up two-factor authentication, simply insert the SIM card into another unlockable smartphone to receive the confirmation SMS.
Your smartphone will be displayed in Device Manager.
Choose "lock".
This way you can remotely set up a new PIN for your smartphone, from which you have locked yourself out.
I have already tried this and I suspect that this is no longer available because it is also not displayed for my S8. I know this option even from earlier but it is no longer findable for a mobile phone.
Unlocking Samsung devices is also possible via the configured Samsung account.
Go to the website to log in to the Samsung account.
Select your Samsung smartphone and control the "Share screen" option.
With "Share" you can now share the Android screen via the PC.
The prerequisite for this is that "remote access" is activated in the security options of the smartphone. In addition, the Samsung device must be connected to the Internet.
This is aware, however, this is not a Samsung smartphone, as it is in the title. I guess it only helps a factory reset? I would also be ready to unlock via USB flash if possible.
Then you can't get around a factory reset
Okay shame: / Thanks anyway.
