Whatsapp on Dual SIM a copy of the first account?

I have to use a second SIM card in my HUAWEI P30 for professional reasons and also install WhatsApp a second time with the second number.

The other What's app is only cloned from the cell phone, since I have no technical knowledge of what, my question is whether it is a copy, so are the settings adopted?

Of course I also have people I once blocked, will they be opened again and vice versa, should I be blocked somewhere (I don't know)?

Especially since I use it professionally, that's a bit tricky for me. And I'm considering installing business. But not everyone uses the professional contacts.

There are apps that simply install the app a second time with a different signature. I don't think any settings will be adopted.

Have not tried it myself, but as far as I know, huawei, i.e. App twin, only clones the app itself, so that you can use it (e.g. What's app) with the second sim card, without conflicting with the already installed what's app to stand.

No

I have the same problem.

I have to disappoint you, it doesn't work.

WhatsApp is so narrow-minded and connects private and professional automatically. It can't be separated even with two devices.

Re

Then you did something wrong… I used that too and had two completely separate WhatsApp. With a phone number anyway, and also in terms of settings. Of course, only the contacts are displayed for both, since the contact details from the phone are the same for both.

Re

For me (Samsung) WhatsApp as a dual messenger ran completely independently of the main installation. No settings have been applied. No BlackList entries or anything were cloned for the second number. I was able to configure it completely independently.

Now that this is no longer possible on the admin side due to the enterprise changeover, I use the business version as the 2nd WhatsApp. This does not differ from the normal, but can be installed from the store as an extra app and does not accept data from other versions…

No

That's exactly what I mean.

However, I do not want my private contacts to be shown via the professional Sim and vice versa.
