I recently had the problem that the videos gallery on my P20 Pro can't be played at all or only with a very delay. That means, when I click on a video (i.e. On the play button), it either takes an extremely long time for the video to start or I have to press it very often… It's getting really annoying!
I downloaded a gallery app from the Playstore to see whether it was the same there. That's not the case. In the new app everything works without any problems!
Does anyone else have the same problem and if so how can it be fixed?
What I've already tried: clear the gallery app's cache, clear data and force a stop. Unfortunately all without success… I would be grateful for new solutions.
Have you already cleared Huawei Video's cache?
Yes, both from the gallery app and from Huawei Video. Unfortunately, neither did anything. Even restarting the cell phone does not bring any improvement.
Delete the data in the video app
Ok now that I've deleted the video app data, it seems to be working again!
