How do I activate the dark mode on Instagram?

I own a Huawei p30 lite and would like my Instagram to be dark (dark design). Only I do not know how I can adjust this. I've tried a lot but have not worked so far.

With Samsung you have to activate the dark mode on the mobile phone. Does your mobile have one too? If no, possibly with the Insta settings

Your phone probably has no system-wide dark mode (I galube the Android 10). To have a darkmode on Instagram you need this system-wide darkmode and then have to set it in the settings.
