Smooth 4 gimbal?

I have a question about the Smooth 4 Gimbal. I would very much like to buy one, but I'm not sure whether my cell phone is compatible with the gimbal. I have a Huawei p9 lite. I wrote to support and they then sent a list showing all the phones that work with the gimbal. There, however, only the p9 is compatible with the Huawei. But does it still work?
