How do I know if the protective film on the front of the cell phone is a simple one or is already bulletproof glass?

The film (a little thicker) on my Huawei p30 lite was already on the display when I bought it.

Now I ask myself, is it bulletproof glass or normal foil + a thinner foil on the back.

Want to buy a case + think about what to buy. I already talked about it in the forum + got tips. I would be fine with a yellow wallet with zip + compartments. But nothing should be so good!

Could I use such a simple cover + one in the form of a wallet. Or is it too tight, is it superfluous?

Just leave out the term bulletproof glass, it's never been, it's just a little stronger plastic

Jo

Thanks!

So just leave the current protective film on + buy such a wallet case?

With my old one (approx. 11.5 years), nothing like that was necessary. Only had a self-crocheted cover with a long "handle"!

It probably just attached a plastic sheet. Plastic is much softer than glass (armored glass). With this the material can also confirm.

You can carefully press the display or the protection in front of it with your fingernail. If you see that the screen protector gives a little (indicated by reflection), it is definitely plastic. If you push too hard, the damage can persist.

If it's glass, you can use a knife or coins to try to scratch the glass. That shouldn't be possible as glass is stronger.

So plastic scratches much faster than glass.

Thanks!

That's stiff like an ox, so, bulletproof glass? On the back, that's soft foil!
