I would like to order the Huawei Nova 3. It came in the summer of 2018 on the market. Unfortunately, there's no German or EU version. Does anybody know if I still use the LTE tapes 4G / FDD-LTE 850/900/1800 / 2100MHz (B5 / B8 / B3 / B1), 4G / TD-LTE 1900/2300/2500 / 2600MHz (B39 / B40 / B41 / B38) get far in Germany? Or I have extreme limitations because I have no 800 MHz band. I often travel in rural areas.
850 MHz is not used here at all. Interesting in Germany are 800, 1800, 2600 and partly 2100MHz. The last three are mainly used in cities, but if you're into rural areas and you want to use LTE, the 800MHz band is indispensable.
850 MHz and 1900 MHz are used only in the US and Canada. The newly described frequencies are probably reserved for 5 G, but you need a different phone anyway.
