Cell phone speaker?

If I'm on YouTube or TikTok or anywhere else where I want to play a sound on my cell phone speaker, I only hear the sound from where I hear it when I'm on the phone. There's no sound coming from the speaker on the bottom of my phone. (I have a Huawei mate 20 Lite)
