My grandmother (75) has expressed a wish. And she wants, like my grandfather (81) have a smartphone. My grandfather, for example Has now his 3rd Smartphone (Huawei Mate S) and comes out great with it.

Now I'm an Android user and have a good technical understanding, but I do not know if that would be the easiest way for my grandmother. She needs in terms of technology her age nunmal a bit longer to see through everything.

Basically, I'm open to both operating systems, only I would like to know from you what is better for them.

Answers such as "iPhone is better anyway" or the other way around, far from expertise, I would not hear.

I would rather recommend her an iPhone, Samsung could be complicated for her.
Of course someone should be there to answer their questions and Updates helps

Here it is very clear: Android.

You know better about it, and grandpa has that too - there you can help each other much better; and chargeable apps also share.

If the initial setup is done, the main apps are on the home screen, etc., then the Android is also very user friendly.

I basically install the Nova Launcher on all Android devices, then they are even more consistent.

Against iOS speaks nothing fundamental. That would be my recommendation, if there are already devices in the environment. Take nothing fundamentally - Android is just more open, with more variety and more user-friendly (it does not go like this).

IPhone.

There you can place them, and it's hard to change something serious or something.

It's also safer and that means you can't just download a virus or something. "

Besides, it is much clearer, and easy to use 😇

It does not have to be the newest. Believe there's also a 5 or so😇
