Huawei Mate 20 Pro Single Sim problem?

I've bought the Huawei Mate 20 pro with contract at Vodafone and I now see that this is just a single sim phone. According to the Internet, the phone should only be a dual-SIM. Did Vodafone have the phone locked by the software? How can you bypass or disable this? Rooten is also said to be pretty heavy since Huawei hired her bottloader unlockdienst. And has something to do with (see picture) of the adapted version?
