Does jmd know how to issue the auto correction on a Huawei Mate 20 lite? It really bothers me enormously and I've already gone through all the options in the settings.

Languages and input / screen keyboard. If the default keyboard does not offer you the option, install GBoard or any other. There you can then turn off the Aufokorrektur, wrong words are only not marked, no longer corrected.

Thank you, do you also know how to activate ä, ü, ö and ß without having to press longer on a letter? I have already set the keyboard to German, but the umlauts are still not displayed to me.
Yes, setting the umlauts is easy. In the upper left corner of the keyboard, click on the plus then the keyboard key and select the German keyboard. You can then swipe the keyboards to the side as there's also an extension with umlauts.
If I press on the plus there's no keyboard character, just something like GIFs and the settings where I found nothing
Not on the three points the keyboard is two icon in front of it
