I'm looking for a good VR glasses that is compatible with the "Huawei Honor 8x" (6.5 inches, height x width x depth - 160.4 x 76.6 x 7.8 mm). Does anyone know one?
Do you want the bracket just to try for a vr experience or permanently use and if so for what interactions.
I have no experience with VR yet. If you like it also like permanently. Interactions just as an example: watching a movie, VR chat etc.
The big problem is the Lange 6.5 inch screen
OK.
since you seem to want to see if you like it, I would just take a cardboard, because:
your phone has only 1080p, that would be pro eye 540 and this is the dipslay larger than the oleds of rift vive and co, which then again highlights the sde (screen door effect).
vr on the phone generally rather for short interactions are there the performance, displays and co are not good on many smartphones.
and the cost to play with the phone vr pc title so high that you can also get a rift or odysee.
the big disadvantage of smart vr are the mostly small fov's (field of view) because the ppi are too low in most cases and usually the lenses often have a milky veil (with cheap mounts). For more than 50euro spend would be a waste of money in my eyes because you usually have a good used quest z.b. Can get and because more performance and better lenses installed. Only as a suggestion.
Moreover, just the vr felt, no matter which smart vr bracket, kept very low because tracking and the roomscale provides a multiple more immersion than just a cell phone with lenses.
So I recommend either a stand alone glasses (or just the cardboard bracket) or visit one of his rented vr space. You could also go to the media market or saturn, but usually they only offer the rift and psvr and in addition, people have zero idea of the systems, unless you accidentally get one who is actually dealing with the topic private / professional.
