On my device (Huawei Y6s) there's an app called: HMS Core.

Is the app important? If not, how can I uninstall / deactivate the app?

HMS Core is a service app from Huawei itself and is part of the system, so to speak. Without HMS Core, some apps from Huawei such as Health, App Shop and co. Not work.
