I want to use my Huawei e5577c mobile router in my holiday home in Italy. At the moment there are better unlimited giga contracts for cell phones. Can I also use the cell phone sim in the router? Or is the speed impaired?
I have the same router and use it with a SIM card from free.fr especially when camping and very little in other life. € 19.99 / month, 100 GB in France / 25 GB in Europe including Switzerland.
Disadvantage: making calls with the corresponding number does not work with the router (SMS yes). If you want to make a call: either with a VoIP connection or with the SIM card in a cell phone as a mobile hotspot.
