Since I use Huawei, I don't have a Google PlayStore. That is not a problem, since the Huawei AppGallery is already very full, but some apps are still not available there.
Then I found an app store called Aptoide and there I can now find every app I need and the apps always work.
Now I want to ask if the Aptoide is safe and trustworthy, if someone knows. I didn't have to register anywhere and the apps that I can install always state whether the "manufacturer" is trustworthy. But better safe than sorry.
Not really serious
Why?
I've been using it for years until now, never had any problems.
Based in china, no official publisher of the apps, data leaks in their account databases, as far as I know not monitored by another instance
Stop it
: D
From my point of view, the store is trustworthy, I also use it. My favorite, however, is Aurora Store.
There's Aurora Droid and Aurora Store. Aurora Droid accesses the sources of F-Droid. Aurora Store accesses the Play Store.
I don't need that and I want to stay away from the PlayStore as best I can
That's the advantage of Aurora Store: You don't need a Google account, but you have access to all apps. At Aptoide, I looked in vain for some apps.
How did you come to China? I see Portugal as the company headquarters.
Which for example?
I didn't notice that.
My mistake. They set up a new headquarters in China after Chinese companies invested money.
I have already used the Aptoide offer several times, and Chip magazine also writes positive things about this alternative. There's simply no control over the origin of the apps.
