I built house 2 years ago and provided each room with a LAN connection. Now I've recently got a new router (HUAWEI B715 SP) that does not perform well at the site where the old router was - exactly where all the ports merge - so I'm forced to switch locations,
But now I have the problem that I'm no longer near the Lan distribution box and therefore my question:
Can I reach from one of the rooms in which the connection is much better, the distribution box with the single connection in this room and thus supply all other connections again, or is not that in the reverse direction?
I'm open for any suggestion - thank you very much.
What is this distributor? A switch or patch field?
Extend yes in the reason only the line to wipe router and switch / patch panel
So yes, works
I think it's just the cables together, so a patch field.
I would recommend the access point I have two in my house and since I'm almost at the beginning speed of the router in the wlan so I can't really complain because it costs really good money

Why the second question, if already at no Reatkion on the answers?
If you just want to have it, then you have to take a technician on site to help.
Stay relaxed!
If you feel disadvantaged, I would like to apologize to you at this point and at the same time thank you for your very first very detailed and informative answer to my questions. Of course, I'll catch up with that right away and react to your comment from yesterday.
Thank you!
