Is Huawei safe when it comes to espionage. Because the company was sued by the Americans.

I have a Huawei cell phone myself and can't complain that Huawei accused of espionage, but can't provide any evidence.
So I wouldn't trust them.

Since there's no evidence from the USA, no one can say here whether and how safe Huawei is.

If it is not from Huawei, you have Google, Instagram and Facebook on your phone. These apps also eavesdrop on you and analyze your photos and texts.
If you don't want to be spied on, don't get a cell phone.
