Who needs armored foil?

I have a new cell phone (Huawei P20 Lite) and do not know how the armor foil on it has because it only has a hole,

And in my opinion, it would make no sense to use the hole for the writing up there's something even more important and that would then be masked. But I do not know it yet. Would be glad if someone could help me.
